Tibetan prayer flags are inscribed with symbols, invocations, prayers and mantras. Tibetan Buddhists place these flags outside their homes and places of spiritual worship for the wind to carry the spiritual vibrations across the countryside. Prayer flags are said to bring happiness, health, long life and prosperity to the flag bearer and all living beings in the vicinity.
Flag colours are alternating: Blue, lilac, red, green and yellow.
The cotton flags measure approximately 10cm x10cm. The entire string of flags measures approximately 1.5 metres long. Size of flags may vary slightly.
Flags are designed to look weathered and imperfect.
Handmade and printed.
